ETROM (NES-ETROM and HVC-ETROM) is a board within the ExROM set. Like other ExROM boards, ETROM uses the Nintendo MMC5 ASIC.

Overview

  • PRG ROM size: 128, 256 or 512 KB (DIP-28/32 Nintendo pinout)
  • PRG ROM bank size: 8 KB, 16 KB, or 32 KB
  • PRG RAM: 16 KB (8 KB with optional battery + 8 KB without battery)
  • CHR capacity: 128, 256 or 512 KB ROM (DIP-32 Nintendo pinout)
  • CHR bank size: 1 KB, 2 KB, 4 KB, or 8 KB
  • Nametable mirroring: Controlled by mapper
  • Subject to bus conflicts: No
